Is it possible to have a nose thread lift while you already have temporary nose fillers?

Doctor's Answer

Hi,

Yes, you can still have a thread lift if you have temporary nose fillers. However, the aesthetic result will not be advisable as the existing hyaluronic acid fillers will shift and make the nose bridge broader.

I highly recommend using hyaluronidase to melt the fillers first before performing the nose thread lift 5 days later.

An exception is if you use nose threads 3 months after collagen-stimulating fillers like Ellanse or Radiesse for nose augmentation. That would be ok as the fillers have already stabilized and produced collagen around it. Placing nose threads just under the skin to contour the nose further will give an enhanced result.
