This is a good question. There are several devices that can effectively administer healing compounds into your skin using high pressured air jets. Brand names of "needle-less" treatment devices include Enerjet and Airjet.
Based on my personal experience using Enerjet for scar treatment and non-surgical face lifting, such devices can effectively administer healing compounds without "needle" injections. Common healing compounds are hyaluronic acid. Rejuran healer is also another possibility.
This "needle-less" administration of healing compounds causes minimal pain. However, don't be fooled! It is not completely free of downtime. There will be small bumps in your skin due to the high pressure jets that "inject" the healing compounds into your skin. These bumps resolve in half a day.
For treatments that have completely zero downtime, you must ask yourself if the Rejuran/Hyaluronic acid healing compounds have really been delivered effectively into your skin.
The key questions to ask your treatment provider are:
1. What is the device that they are using for "needle-less" injections?
- not every "needle-less" device is effective.
2. What is the amount of Rejuran wastage?
- for devices that do not work well, there will be wastage of product.
- if this is the case, it is more beneficial for you to rely on needle injections for more effective administration of Rejuran into your skin.
