What is the minimum age before getting Invisalign?

Doctor's Answer

Invisalign has come up with this solution called "Invisalign first", so they just launched around somewhere last year. So that it’s a system tailored for younger children from age 7, at that age group sometimes we do see some conditions that we want to do some early treatment.

For example, maybe a single tooth growing that is growing in the wrong direction that may be causing trauma for the tooth at the bottom, so maybe knocking on the bottom teeth and causing it to be shaky or may be causing the jaw to shift forward or sometimes we see some kids where their upper jaw is narrow so all these we can use Invisalign to move the teeth in the way that we expand the upper teeth to create more space for the adult teeth to grow into proper position or eliminate the jaw shift or I mentioned on trauma. So all these things we want to treat early, so yes, we can treat with Invisalign for younger patients as well.
