Accutane or isotretinoin, is a very effective treatment for acne vulgaris. However, in some individuals, they may experience some hair loss while on on the medication.
In general, the hair loss is usually temporary and reversible and may be dose-dependent. Stopping the medication will usually result in your hair growing back.
