Urgent condtions are recognised as:

  • Breathing difficulties, choking
  • Severe bleeding that doesn't stop even when applying direct pressure
  • Head injuries
  • Unconsciousness
  • Stroke
  • Seizures
  • Heart attack - Chest pain accompanied by sweating, nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, radiating pain, dizziness, or irregularly beating of the heart
  • Severe pain
