I would say do your research, information is readily available if you google. You get a rough idea of what fillers are and then you can get more information from your physician. I would say don’t rush into it. It’s an elective procedure but once you have a good understanding of what you are going for, it would be a pleasurable experience for you and the doctor.

When we inject fillers, in unlikely cases, the filler is injected into the bloodstream and affects blood flow to the eye. The eye will have no blood and no oxygen, so the eye will go blind. It depends on the resistance to degradation by native hyaluronidase (an enzyme that degrades hyaluronic acid found in fillers). I would rephrase the question as 'how not to look like you had treatment'. You know when you go out of the clinic or when you go out, people will say oh have you ever get fillers done. It is always important to discuss with the physician to see what effects you are trying to achieve. Because I think once you reach that effect, you have to stop. I do not think there is an optimal age. Legally speaking above 21 for sure. I guess it all depends; if you are 22 years old and there’s no hollowness or sagginess, I don’t see why you need a filler or anything at all unless you have some acne scars, for that age range, usually acne scar is a problem. But, let us say you are 25 and have a hollow, sunken temple then a temple filler might be suitable for you.
