I will tell my patients to practise the following measures:

  1. Wash hands frequently
  2. Practise social distancing, avoid crowded areas
  3. Stay home unless it is absolutely necessary to go out
  4. Wear a mask if possible
  5. Avoid touching your hands, face and mouth
  6. Seek medical attention early if you are feeling unwell

A one year old child can take chlorpheniramine for a runny nose. The dosage needed is dependent on the child's weight. Please consult your doctor on the dosage to be given.
