Hi, from the photo, you may have inflammation of the small capillaries within the upper layers of the skin. The condition is called Capillaritis or Schamberg’s disease. The inflammation allows red blood cells to leak through gaps in the capillary walls causing painless and non-itchy red spots on the skin. With time, the red spots clear and brown spots (due to hemosiderin deposition) remain. The brown spots tend to remain for years.
It will be good to consult your doctor who will be able to fully assess your condition, exclude any underlying cause such as drugs and to confirm the diagnosis. A skin biopsy may be required to confirm the diagnosis. The condition has generally no significant health impact. Effective treatment options, however, remain elusive.
