How do I choose between ultherapy vs. ultraformer vs. face thread-lift for my sagging face?

Doctor's Answer

Thread-Lifts

Thread-lifts are usually performed on patients who are in their late 40s to 60s. The best results are seen in this age group.

If someone desires to have a uplifted and taut appearance with instant results and does not mind some pain, swelling or bruising for a week or two, thread-lift would be very suitable.

Ultherapy and Ultraformer

Both ultherapy and ultraformer treatments are suitable for people who are:

  • In their mid 30s to 50s
  • Patient
  • Want a non-invasive, no downtime method of achieving skin tightening.

Tightening of sagging skin by Ultherapy or HIFU is due to the stimulation of collagen contraction, formation, and remodelling.

This process takes 2-3 months and more evident lifting will be seen after 3 months. The uplifting effects on the face is very natural, however it cannot achieve the ultra-tight chiseled-like appearance that face thread-lifts can provide.
