How can I achieve more volume on my face and a lifting effect?

Doctor's Answer

The answer is skin fillers.

As the face ages, it loses fat volume and bony support on the front of the cheeks, temple, around the eyes, chin, and jawline.

Hyaluronic fillers such as Juvederm, Voluma, and Volift are biologically natural fillers that have a good lifting capacity and natural effect to restore the volume in the areas described above and give an immediate lift to the sagging cheeks.

A full treatment can take up to 8ml in one sitting and they are injected in strategic points to support the deep ligaments that hold the soft tissue up.

The procedure is done using a combination of needles and cannulas. There is very minimal downtime i.e. pin-point bruising and the results are good for one year.

It is important to go to an experienced injector as complications such as skin necrosis, infection, and even blindness (rare) have been described in the literature. [1] [2]

The advantage of using a hyaluronic acid filler is the quick remedy called hylase that can dissolve the filler within minutes if a problem occurs or if downsize adjustments are required. [3]

I hope this has been helpful.
