Is there any reason why I should not go for a higher level of botox units from my 3rd session onwards?

Hi,

The dose of botox should be tailored to the desired response while factoring safety and the avoidance of unwanted side-effects such as droopiness, excessive muscle paralysis rather than the treatment sessional number.

In my experience, fewer units of botox are required for some patients after repeated treatments as the original muscles treated decrease in bulk and strength.

Your preferred aesthetic doctor will be able to assess your response from previous treatments and advise if higher doses are needed to optimize your clinical results.

Can I have dentures if I only have one good tooth left?

A single tooth rarely provides decent retention or resistance for a denture. Full upper dentures (where the patient has no teeth) rely on suction generated by a tight fit and compression of the underlying gums to keep the denture in place. Incorporating a single tooth into the denture prevents this seal from forming, so the denture will be loose and move during speech and eating. Full lower dentures may benefit from a single tooth being used as an overdenture abutment. This means the denture rests on top of the tooth instead of going around it.

Can conditions that cause gas and leave me breathless at night lead to cancer? At night I tend to burp a lot and feel uncomfortable in my abdomen area.

Cancers, in general, do not produce gas and cause breathlessness at night unless you have concurrent obstructions in your intestine or lung-related diseases which is made worse by lying down. Bloating and breathlessness, on the other hand, are symptoms that do not lead to cancers by themselves. From your description, you may be suffering from delay gastric emptying and reflux disease. These conditions tend to present with a sensation of a full stomach and periodic flow of gastric content back into the swallowing pipe.
