Dr Mizan Marican is an orthopaedic surgeon with over a decade of experience under his belt. He graduated from King’s College London in 2005 with an MBBS (Bachelor in Medicine, Bachelor in Surgery) before furthering his postgraduate surgical training in Singapore. In 2010, Dr Mizan Marican embarked on his orthopaedic training. He later received the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) of Edinburgh in 2015.
For 18 months, Dr Mizan Marican served as an orthopaedic consultant at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He then undertook an esteemed fellowship at Melbourne Orthopaedic Group in 2017, where he trained for joint preservation and hip and knee replacement surgeries by the guidance of distinguished orthopaedic surgeons.
Today, Dr Mizan Marican specialises in lower limb surgery and focuses his practice on joint preservation, sports injuries, and joint replacement surgeries for the hip and knee. He is experienced in performing knee replacement surgery for active patients in particular and in using navigated and robot arm-assisted (MAKOplasty®) knee replacements.
