In 1998, Dr Melvin Ee graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) at the University of Sheffield, UK. And subsequently in 2001, he attained membership of the Royal College of Physician (MRCP) and became a fellow of the Academy of Medicine (FAMS) in 2006. Following after, he underwent advanced subspecialty training in Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancers, skin surgery, lasers and aesthetic dermatology at the well known St John's Institute of Dermatology, London, UK.
At the moment, he is a dermatologist at Dermatology and Surgery Clinic which he set up and prior to that, he was a consultant dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at Specialist Skin Clinic and Associates. He specializes in general and aesthetic dermatology, skin cancers, Mohs micrographic surgery and laser surgery. Formerly the Chief of the Skin Cancer Clinic and Mohs micrographic surgical service at the National Skin Centre (NSC), Dr Ee pioneered and established the Mohs micrographic surgical services in Singapore.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Ee has been invited to present in both local and international scientific meetings. He has also published extensively and educates medical students at the National University of Singapore and fellow doctors alike.
