What is the best treatment method for sagging facial skin?

Thank your for your question. Saggy facial skin is a common complaint among women, especially the more matured age group. With the absence of photos, it is difficult to give a targeted treatment plan. I agree with Dr Samuel. Given your age, non invasive treatments are unlikely to give you longevity of results. From my experience, here are key take home messages for you. 1. Your options are surgical vs non surgical 2. Non surgical would require a combination of threadlift, fillers and energy devices for optimum result 3.

Is laser treatment effective for getting rid of small and skin-coloured bumps on my skin? (photo)

Thank you for your question. As my colleagues have expertly explained, it is difficult to assess from the pictures. Ideally, we assess your skin growths under lighting in a 3D manner. Differentials include: 1. Milia 2. Keratin plugs These can be easily treated with 1. C02 laser 2. Surgitron 3. Cryotherapy Good skincare is essential. I would recommend 1. sunscreen twice daily 2.

Should I go for nose threadlift or nose fillers in Singapore?

Building a beautiful nose is like building a beautiful home. It requires time and energy. In the past, noses were shaped with fillers, but along came the complications hence fillers are no longer as popular. In experienced hands, depending on your nose shape and desired result, a careful combination of fillers and threads gives you the best results. I hope this helps.

Can nose threads be removed or dissolved if the outcome is poor?

The short answer is yes, they can be removed. But this depends on the location, insertion technique and timing. And the removal of threads leads to a risk of poor wound healing, infection and even scarring. The good thing is PDO threads are 100% dissolvable, so they will be absorbed into your skin within 3 months if the outcome was unsatisfactory.

How long does bruising last for after dermal fillers?

Thank you for your question. Bruising occurs as a result of patient and doctor factors. To fix scars, injections needed to be done superficially, hence increasing your bruise risk. This is normal. Not to worry, most bruises resolve in 2 weeks. To speed up healing, you may consider arnica. Hope this helps!

What are effective methods to reduce pore size? Are lasers able to minimise pores permanently?

Thank you for your question. This is indeed a common concern for us all. I shall touch on a few other points. What are pores? Pores are akin to breathing holes for your skin. They grow in size with age. What causes pores? Pores are caused by 3 main reasons. First, impurities like dead skin, debris, excess oil is trapped inside and causes it to grow like a balloon. Second, ageing causes the loss of collagen and elastin, so the pores lose the tautness and distends. Finally environmental factors like smoking and sun exposure speeds up the ageing process via collagen breakdown.

What are the causes and best treatment for brown facial pigmentation in Singapore?

I am quite concerned about your white spots appearing around your brown mark. It sound like you have done several laser treatments over the years. Pigment cells may have been damaged and unfortunately, no pigments = white spots as Dr Ho rightfully pointed out. To me, you would need to seriously consider stopping laser treatments. I would suggest antioxidants to help with your brown spot and nothing more invasive. Hope this helps!

Volume loss – which is a direct result of ageing, where the skin develops fines lines and wrinkles and sags, and you lose volume in the cheeks Pigmentation – which is the stimulation of your melanin cells, commonly as a result of sun exposure.
