About Dr Chan Yuin Chew
Dr Chan graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, the National University of Singapore in 1993. He completed his Internal Medicine training in Singapore General Hospital and Advanced Specialist Training in Dermatology at the National Skin Centre. Following that, he completed his paediatric dermatology fellowship at Children’s Hospital, San Diego, and the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine in 2003 on a scholarship. He is also a member of the Society of Pediatric dermatology and Singapore Medical Council.
Dr Chan is a former President of the Dermatological Society of Singapore and vice-Chairman of the Chapter of Dermatologists, College of Physicians. He is a Member of Royal College of Physicians, UK and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in the specialized field of Dermatology.
His clinical interest is in paediatric dermatology, skin and laser surgery. Besides his clinical work, Dr Chan has published 28 scientific papers in peer-reviewed medical journals, contributed chapters to several dermatology textbooks and was taught at numerous regional dermatology congresses.
